Fun In the SUN with Cousins!

Aunt Ashlee and her daughters flew in for the weekend for a little Sun, Fun and Relaxation.WE were able to get a little of everything in.  From swimming at the pool to playing on the beach, we ALL had a wonderful time together.   The kids could have stayed at the beach ALL day if we didn't run out of snacks.
Sadie loved every minute of baby Emree, she thought it was her own doll to play with.  She loved kissing her and making sure Emree had her blanket on.

The kids loved digging for SAND CRABS! and making there own tide pools!
CUTE COUSINS, HAPPY TO BE TOGHER FOR A FEW DAYS!

PiCkeN PuMpKiNs!

Here we are at the Pumpkin Patch to get our Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween.

Mitchell and Kade picked 2 of the largest pumpkins in the patch to call their very own!

They had fun trying out the HAY pyramid and running around the SUNFLOWER maze!
Grandma Mink flew in for the week and we were able to have so much fun with her while she was at our house.
Nothing beats a good old wheel barrow ride!  Slow down DAD!
Sadie took a seat on the white pumpkins to ponder on what Pumpkin she wanted!
Grandma tried to help Sadie make her big decision!

Great to be Eight!

The anticipated day had finally arrived.  On October 11, 2008, Mitchell was confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mitchell has been looking forward to this day for quite a while and is so proud to be the newest member of our ward.  I am grateful for the wonderful EXAMPLE he is to his little brother and sister.

Mitchell's grandma and grandpa Sampson flew in for this special occasion.  We had a wonderful weekend with them and so grateful they were able to come for this SPECIAL day!

We are so proud of Mitchell and the decisions he is making in his life.  He is a wonderful son, and we are so blessed to have him in our family.

I LOVE morning PIGGIES!

Sadie is growing up before our EYES!

She is a little spitfire and keeps me smiling each day.  I LOVE her morning piggies after she has tosseld and turned on them through the night.

I have to keep her hair pulled up when she goes to bed or she has ALL her hair in her face, and she has to swipe it away constantly.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I'M 8!

Mitchell has turned 8. Yes, I think I am to young to have a kid getting baptized. He is so excited to be baptized in a few weeks and really looking forward to that very special day.

Mitchell loved everything about his birthday. He woke up and asked for a pancake breakfast. Then he opened his package from his grandma & grandpa. New clothes, he whipped his old clothes off, put the new one's on and we were off to school. After school he wanted to go shopping with his dad for his birthday gift! He was all smiles when he got home and off shopping with dad. They had a great time, the only thing was Mitchell had too many decisions and couldn't make up his mind. After a couple hours of shopping (remind you, he is with his father, Scott is a in and out kind of shopper) Mitchell decided on an Ipod and some baseball bases. Then they met us at the Restaurant of Mitchell's choice! Chilli's, he was so excited to have the RIBS! He ate every last bite and still was a little hungry, I think the days of Kids meals our over for Mitchell! (dang it!) Last but not least we headed home for cake and Ice cream! Mitchell wanted a BYU cake, this is what I came up with. He loved it. He got calls, and cards from family and friends and his day was complete.

The cutest thing was when Scott and I put him to bed, he was a little sad and a few tears were there. I asked why he was crying, he said It's nothing mom, I talked to him and finally he admitted he had such a great day and he didn't want his birthday to end. I kissed him and told him if it didn't end he would never turn 9. That pretty much explained itself.

We love you Mitchell and we are so glad to have you in our family. We are proud of the decisions you are making in your life!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Mom, I'M NOT TIRED!

Kade and I are always having our issues of him telling me that he is not tired. Kade is 5 and still could use a short nap. 5 or 6 o'clock at night Kade is not a very Happy Camper. He is soo tired and wines about everything. I am always telling Kade he should lay down and watch a show and have some quiet time. He always tells me, MOM I'M NOT TIRED! Well this picture speaks for itself!

MOM'S DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!

BACK 2 SCHOOL!

Mitchell started 2ND grade and Kade started Kindergarten. Wow, are they really that old? They both really enjoyed there first day of school, there were no tears on either end and all smiles when they came home. I loved my time with Sadie while the boys were away and I think she enjoyed mine. She wanted my undivided attention the whole 3 hours.

Sadie of course needed a photo just like her brothers, she is into doing everything they do! They of course think it's great, we will see how long this last!

BUDDY BEACH DAY!

We are so fortunate to be so close to the beach! We have spent many a day at the beach this summer. School is starting on Wednesday and are Beach days are coming to an end, or at least not as frequent!

We were able to go with some friends from our church and the kids had a blast and the mothers enjoyed themselves chatting under the shade tent eating snacks or course.

READY, SET, HIKE!

Mitchell and McKade have started Flag Football and they both really enjoy it thus far. They are both doing really well and are very athletic. Last game Kade made a touchdown and the extra point. Mitchell's team tied with the other team 0 to 0 but Mitchell made the highlight of the game by making a huge interception!

We have really enjoyed watching them both play and they are learning some good sportsmanship for there future athletic
careers. Good Job boys, we love you!

CuTe CoUsiNs!

Our trip to Utah was short but wonderful! Sadie loved her newest cousin Emree. Whenever we saw her, all she wanted to do is HOLD the BABY! With a few pillows and mom close by we let her have her 1st chance at holding Emree. She loved every minute of the experience.
