The Secret Waterfall

My brother took us on a drive and in the middle of nowhere we pulled off and hiked into this most beautiful waterfall. The boys all decided they were going to jump. My sister-in-law and I were a little nervous but there were a few men that had jumped before us and we really had no control anyway!

Scott, Mitchell, Doug, Easton and Dawson all decided to take the plunge. We closed our eyes and prayed for the best!

All and All it was awesome, but we did find out the hard way that Sadie gets car sick! That was the only down part on the trip!

A Vacation to Remember!

ALOHA!

We have just returned from our family trip to Maui and I think I am a little depressed. It was wonderful and I can hardly believe we are back and I am back to doing all the mom things, (cleaning, cooking, laundry and fighting kids).

It was a perfect vacation and so wonderful to be able to be with my brother Doug and his wife and 3 boys. Everyone asks how it was, and I say it was Hawaii what is there not to LOVE! Usually I get homesick after a week, but since we had our kids with us Scott and I both thought we could handle another week or so.

It was a vacation we will always remember!

can you say SLIMY?

OK here is the story. Mitchell has been reading the Guinness Book of World Records. He came home the other day and said, Mom do you think it would be hard to keep 7 snails on your face at once? I replied, no but it would definitely be Gross and very slimy! I asked why? He told me in the Guinness Book of World Records a boy from the UK kept 7 snails on his face, and he knew he could beat that easy!

So tonight I am trying to make dinner and Kade comes running in and tells me to get the camera Mitchell is putting snails on his face. I go outside and sure enough he has gathered 8 snails from the yard. I am not talking your normal, little run of the mill snail, these things are huge and they are crawling or should I say sucking to his face. It was a lot harder than he thought. It took a lot of patience on his part. They kept falling off, about 1 hour later he had finally got all 8 to suction to his face. They were in his ears, on his eyes and even one went on his lip!

I got Scott and he said, Nat he is your kid! We all got a big laugh and Mitchell is stoked because he thinks he holds the new record for the most snails on a kids face at one time! He definitely got SLIMED and said he actually thought it was COOL! GO figure!

THINK BLUE!

Go Dodgers! It's baseball season again. The boys love the games. Sadie and I enjoy them, but it is truly a lot of work to have Sadie there at the games for 9 innings or sometimes more. We try to keep her occupied with dancing to the music, waving to everyone in the stands and a tons and tons of snacks! She does pretty well for her age.
The boys think the Dodgers Dogs are to die for. They could probably eat three each, but we have to limit them to two and I always bring in plenty of snacks from the outside. Getting snacks at these games could break the bank, if you know what I mean!

The boys were also stoked because they were giving out JOE TORRE bobble heads at the door. Mitchell thinks he now is going to start collecting bobble heads. I guess it's a good goal! They love when they hand out FREE things at the door.
