Marvelous & Magnificent Maui

Scott I were fortunate enough to go and spend the week in Maui for a week with his work. Maui is never a let down and we were able to enjoy ourselves completely. I got to meet a lot of people from Scott's work that I had heard about but never really met. I always like to put a face with a name. We did a fun day hike up to some hidden waterfalls and I even got up the courage to jump off. Then we went kayaking and snorkeled on a beautiful reef where we swam with over 20 sea turtles. The weather was absolutely beautiful and it was just a fabulous trip all around.

Scott and I went on a 4 mile walk to a hidden breakfast hideaway and it was complete with macadamia nut pancakes and coconut syrup, eggs, hash browns and fresh squeezed orange juice. It was wonderful breakfast, but we were a little tired and hung out on this hammock for an hour on the way home. ( rough life, I know)

This was our view from our breakfast table, with a beautiful rainbow to boot.

One of the the hidden waterfalls we were able to hike up to. The water was chilly, but once your body was numb it was perfect.

Me having the courage to actually get in the freezing cold water and actually jump off the cliff. It seemed so much higher once I climbed up to the top, but that was the only way down. Not so bad, but I didn't do it again.

We love Hawaii and never get bored of all it has to offer. We are truly grateful for our brother and sister in law who willingly watched the kiddos while we were away.

A SUPER SPOOKTACULAR Halloween

Halloween this year could not have been better. The weather was PERFECT and the kids all had a great time and got plenty of Treats and Tricks to last all year. We started off the day with the School Parade, then each kid had a classroom party with lots of spooky fun, then we had a neighborhood get together at our house before heading out trick or treating for the night. It was a fun, filled day full of halloween activities,

Sadie counting all of her TREATS!

The boys trying to look cool in there SCARY sports gear! ( they always go way out on Halloween)

Sadie could have not made a cuter cowgirl! I loved it, it was a easy, comfortable costume with no make-up! That is my kind of costume.

Sadie and her best friend Lilly! All ready to go get some treats!

The kids LOVE halloween, they love picking out there own pumpkins and carving them to there liking. Kade does not like to touch the pumpkin innards, but he did this year and it was a huge accomplishment for him. Sadie and Mitchell dig right in and love every minute of the whole process.
We are grateful for a fun, and warm Halloween, because the next day a huge winter storm blew in.
Halloween 2011 was SUPER SPOOKTACULAR!
