Kids Tree 2010

The Kids LOVE having a tree to call there VERY OWN and I LOVE the idea that they have there own tree and I have my OWN tree.

They get to pick out there tree by themselves, put the tree where they want and decorate there tree with the ornaments they made throughout the years, this makes everyone HAPPY!

Scott thinks I am kind of crazy because I LIKE to have a NICE tree with my OWN decorations and I really don't let the kids help out with the tree, sure they can put a ball on it or two but they might be moved later on without them noticing.

The kids were super excited about the tree this year, Scott spoiled them and bought them a train go around there tree. They loved it and it will be a fun tradition to put it up every year with there VERY OWN tree.

We had a wonderful Christmas and we are truly grateful for all of our MANY blessings.

~Merry Christmas 2010~

Happy Kids = Happy Parents

The 3 kids so excited to see if SANTA had made it to our house. They were so excited and magic was truly in the air! Scott had them line up in a line and then one at a time they got to peak and then run back.

The Nativity, Scott read the Scripture story and the kids acted it out with the Nativity. We talked about the true meaning of Christmas and what they thought was the best part of Christmas.

All ready for BEDTIME with new PJ'S! Cookies, Chocolate milk for the big man and 8 carrots for the reindeer. 3 very excited children and 2 sleepy parents. What a wonderful Christmas mix.

Bouncing off the walls with excitement!

They do love each other SOMETIMES!

Sporting NEW PJ'S!

Excited to open up there ONE gift on Christmas EVE!

Mitchell the first one to try out the Chocolate Fondue!

We had a wonderful Christmas. We went to TANGLED to start Christmas Eve. It was a cute show. We came home and played a few games and got our Traditional Fondue dinner ready. It was super yummy and all the kids LOVE this meal and look forward to it each year. We then opened PJ'S and then we were ready for Chocolate Fondue. YUMMY! We then played a few more games, read the Scripture Story and a few Christmas songs and the kids were excited to get in bed. We tracked SANTA on the Santa tracker for a little while and at 9:00 Mitchell told us all we better get to bed because he was moving quickly. They loaded up a plate with goodies and they were off.

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, we truly are blessed to have the Savior in our lives and it is so wonderful that we get to focus on the SAVIOR all Season long.
Merry Christmas 2010!

My kids are GROWING up!

I guess time flies when your on the move and having fun. I have recently been looking back at some of my first Blog posts, I think I even shed a tear. The kids looked so young and so small.
I sit here wondering where the time went and why are my kids growning up so quickly?

Mitchell turned 10 this fall he entered the double digits.
McKade will be 8 next month, January and will be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mercede is 4 going on 18 and I have not come to terms that she will start kindergarten next year.

They are all wonderful kids. Scott and I are so blessed and so proud of the wonderful decisions they are making thus far in there life. We love them so much, they are kids and we do get frustrated with each other but they teach me so much each day, they humble me and I am glad that they can call me MOM.

Walking in a Winer Wonderland!

The kids have been so excited for the first BIG snow storm. Well it didn't take long for there wish to come true! (darn it)

They love love the snow. Finally they are old enough to get dressed and stay out there for longer than it took to get ALL the snow clothes on! YEAH!

Winter is officially here wether I like it or not. I guess I need to have a good attitude and say:
LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!
