2012 EASTER CAMPING TRIP

We traveled down south for our Traditional Easter Camping Trip. The weather was Beautiful and we had a wonderful time spending time together as a family creating, hopefully long lasting memories with the kids. I love this time of the year, SPRING! I love everything about SPRING, the smells in the air, the new babies animals, the blossoms on the trees, the green grass springing forth out of the brown grass, the Tulips, the Daffodils and the excitement and renewed energy in the air.

Sadie is at such a great age! She makes the holidays wonderful and magical. I love that she loves to help make Easter creative and exciting with me for the boys who honestly really don't care. (Sadie and I sure have fun though)

This is just a few pictures of the MANY, MANY hours "WE" or "THEY" spent shooting skeet! They could have done this all day everyday if we wouldn't have kept running out of shells and skeet! I think we made 3 or 4 trips to the good old WALLY WORLD for more supplies!

This a great shot of ALL 3 boys doing their THING!

Scott, giving Kade a little coaching on his aim and his shot!

Sadie trying to do her thing! Dying Easter Eggs was on the top of her list! She spent a good couple of hours on her eggs!

Finally, after a lot of coaxing we got the boys to let their barrels cool off and come and join in on some of the festivities!

Sadie and I, enjoying the beautiful Easter weather!

Annual Easter Egg Roll @ the White Sand Dunes!

Kade showing off his winning egg for the longest distance without cracking! He was proud!

Sadie coaxing her little egg ever so carefully down the hill! She had a blast!

A picture of Glenwood from the white sand dunes! What a quaint little country town! So peaceful and quiet.

Sadie with one of her many creatures she caught while we were roughing outdoors! She thinks catching the bugs and lizards are the best! What a girl.

The boys trying to be patient with their little sister who wants to learn how to shoot a gun.

Annie Oakley MOVE OVER! They were so patient with her and proud of her for wanting to shoot a gun!

Annual Saturday afternoon easter egg hunt! They found plenty of loot to last until next Easter!

Sadie holding her pet lizard. She was so sad when we told her she had to let it go. We finally talked her into it when we told her the lizards mom was probably so sad and was looking for it.

Mitchell and Sadie playing with all their creatures!

This is what tired looks like after 3 long days of CAMPING! They are all showered and smelling clean ready for a good movie. I don't think one of them made it through the first 15 minutes of the movie.

Kade and Mitchell, they really do love each other in a brotherly kind of way. We love our Easter Camping Trip!

We are so grateful for all of our blessings. We love this Easter time when we can ponder the Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ and the Atonement. We are truly blessed to have the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ in our lives, that he has risen & that he lives.

Sleepless Sleepover!

The kids have been bugging Scott and me for a cousin sleepover forever! We really don't do sleepovers at our house, but every "Once" in awhile we will let them with the gang of cousins. I decided since it was spring break and Scott was going to be out of town, I would tackle of sleepover with some of their boy cousins. They couldn't decide who to have over so we invited everyone! It was a super loud, fun, rough, crazy night, but we had a blast from sun up until sun down. Sadie was the only princess around BUT, she fit in just perfect with all these crazy boys!

Striking a pose after their 2 very competitive wiffel ball games. One of the games went into the 11th inning.

Getting all settled in for a good movie night! Trying to get 11 stinky boys and 1 noisy little girl a sleep=IMPOSSIBLE!

THAT IS A LOT OF HOTDOGS AROUND THAT FIRE PIT! LITERALLY!

Topp'n the night off with a little smore's!

Mitchell and his 2 buddies! Dagen and Mac!

Sadie and her 2 best boy buddies! Briggs and Bo!
We had a very fun and tiring night! 12 kids and 1 mom= A very tired mom and a lot of laughing, wrestling and stink'n from all the others! It was a great night we won't soon forget! Thanks to all our BOY BUDDIES!

Feeding the Ducks!

Sadie has been wanting to go feed some ducks for quite a while now. Spring finally is here and we were able to go with some of our best buddies Kai and Karsten to feed the ducks. It was a beautiful spring day and the kids loved every minute of ripping up old hot dog buns to feed to the ducks.

Sadie was very happy and we had a fun little outing with the Smiths!
Happy Kids+Happy Ducks=Happy Moms!
