HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY KADE!

Kade turned 6.  Wow he is growing up on me so quickly!  He had a fun filled few days!  His birthday fell on Sunday this year, which he was not very thrilled with so we partied for 3 days, so he got really spoiled.

Kade's request this year was a BMX dirt bike cake!  This is what I came up with.  He was thrilled, so I was happy!

He woke up at 7:00 am to open gifts on Sunday, before Scott and I had to head out for meetings.  He is a great kid.  He loves life and loves anything outdoors, and anything where there is people involved.  We are proud of him and so glad he keeps us humble and is a part of our family!  WE LOVE YOU B UDDY!  Love MOM & DAD

They Do LOVE each other on occasion!

Most days Kade is Sadie's protector and Big Brother!
Sadie LOVES to do anything Kade does!
There is NOBUDDY like a SISTER!

WHO SAYS I DON'T WATCH MY KIDS?

I promise she was only at the bar 5 minutes without my supervision.  I was trying to get unpacked and thought I was doing so good to have her painting at the bar, instead of watching the television.  Well I came back down to a masterpiece.  I reacted with my camera instead of my normal motherly instincts.

" Mom, me painted me all by myself."

I truly have a one of a kind masterpiece.  Any takers?

SHE DID IT!

The past 2 weeks I have had tears of Joy and Sadness, you see that is what potty training does to you. It was a lonnnnnnnng 2 weeks, but she is doing it by herself now. YIPPY YEAH WHO!

All of a sudden she seems so grown up, & she gets pretty proud of herself when she does the whole routine.

Scott has been out of town, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity for potty training.  I just had forgot how it consumes you and your child and you really can't do much but watch your child like a hawk, but still let them have their space. Man, you can't even leave the house.

SHE DID IT, & Slowly but surely I know I will finally get to go out to TARGET once again.

Let's CELEBRATE, Christmas 2008

We started the night off with our new Sampson family tradition.  FONDUE!
For Desert we had chocolate FONDUE!  The kids licked there lips and couldn't get enough of the CHOCOLATE!

New Pj's  on Christmas Eve is a  tradition, the boys love them, but always a little disappointed when it's just clothes and not a TOY!
Sadie made a perfect Mother Mary!
Mitchell was Joseph, ( a little embarrassed about the whole costume)  Sadie was Mary and Kade was a WISE wise man!

Who's ready for BREAKFAST?
Me cook you food!

Mitchell looks like a natural, what a pose!

We had a wonderful Christmas.  We were able to reflect on our Savior Jesus Christ and spend time with the ones we love most. We are so thankful for a wonderful 2008!  We as a Family were truly blessed with both health and safety& we are looking forward to an outstanding 2009!

A big HUNT for the BOYS!

Scott surprised the boys and his dad with a guided pheasant hunt.  The boys were more excited than Christmas eve.  They were up earlier than the sun and couldn't wait for the hunt to begin.  Scott, his dad and brother said the boys were troopers and didn't complain once and they were right up there keeping up with the BIG boys.

They were able to get  12 birds, 5 full bellies and a priceless day to remember.
