HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS CHAMP!

 Happy Happy Birthday Kader!  

We celebrated Kade's 11th birthday with a few of his buddies. We had hotdogs, chips and treats and played Minute to Win it Games!  They were a huge hit, Kade and his buddies all love competition.  

THERE AIN'T NOBODY LIKE A BUDDY!

 Kade decided on a giant peanut butter cookie cake for his birthday this year.  He was pretty excited with what we came up with.

 Kade is a JOY to have in our life!  He brings many smiles and laughter to our home on a daily basis.  He keeps us humble. Kade loves life.  He is happy and loves friends and loves keeping busy.  We are so grateful for his fun spirit in our home.  He helps us not to take life to serious, and to remember there is always room for everyone & laughter is KEY to make it in this 

journey we called life!

NEWPORT BEACH, LAST MINUTE GETAWAY

Scott and I decided to take a last minute get away the day after Christmas and 

get out of the cold and into the sun! 

  Newport Beach here we come!

 The weather was BEAUTIFUL, the Beach was a Blast and we thought we were in HEAVEN!

 The kids didn't even hesitate to jump right into the 
freezing cold ocean.  They loved every minute of it!

Of course what is the beach with out a 

little or a lot of wiffle ball?  

The boys had a blast playing in the sand & sun!

She loved, loved the water, even if it was a little chilly!

We spent 5 entire days at the beach!

 We ended up at the OC Farmers market!  We had the biggest and sweetest strawberries we have ever tasted!

 One day we rented bikes!  It was so much fun.  We cruised up and down the boardwalk, 
it was truly amazing!

 RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR IN NEW PORT! New Years Eve, we spent swimming at the hotel, sitting in the hot tub and eating wings, and all sorts of finger foods to ring in the new year!  It was awesome, even though we hit the sack around 11:00 all but Mitchell.  We are party poppers for sure!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2013!

 This is how Sadie rolls at our house!  She is always in charge!  Downstairs trying to decorate the kids tree turned into full on craziness.  We had a whole lot of fun and laugh trying to get the kids tree decorated.

Making our Traditional Sugar Cookies!  Mitchell only likes the eating part now, or just decorating his own to eat!  Why do they have to grow up into "TEENAGERS"!

Snow Boarding & Skiing!  We went out a couple of days before Christmas and got our first runs in for the year!  The kids all loved it, the weather was amazing and we had a great time up on the slopes!  Sadie was a trooper, it was her first full day skiing with the family.  She is fearless and did a great job!

 Christmas Ever Dinner & Movie!  We went to see FROZEN this Christmas Eve. It was a darling movie and the kids loved it!  We came home to our traditional Fondue dinner and

 Grandpa and Grandma Degelbeck joined in on the fun night!

 Chocolate Fondue!  Always a big hit, but we are always to full to really enjoy it!  Sadie didn't eat much before so she could really eat up her chocolate fondue!

only to have sugar plums dance in their heads!

 Christmas morning!  The excitement is thick in the air!  I love that Mitchell still gets excited for Christmas morning!  I hope he will always have the Christmas spirit in his heart!

 I love Christmas!  I love the smells, the music, the spirit!  I always hate to see to go by so quickly.  I am so grateful for the Savior and his infinite Atonement in my life.  I am blessed with such a wonderful and supportive family.  I am grateful for all my blessing and the tender mercies the lord blesses my family with each day.  We have had a wonderful 2013,
 and looking forward to a fabulous 2014!
