I LOVE morning PIGGIES!

Sadie is growing up before our EYES!

She is a little spitfire and keeps me smiling each day.  I LOVE her morning piggies after she has tosseld and turned on them through the night.

I have to keep her hair pulled up when she goes to bed or she has ALL her hair in her face, and she has to swipe it away constantly.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I'M 8!

Mitchell has turned 8. Yes, I think I am to young to have a kid getting baptized. He is so excited to be baptized in a few weeks and really looking forward to that very special day.

Mitchell loved everything about his birthday. He woke up and asked for a pancake breakfast. Then he opened his package from his grandma & grandpa. New clothes, he whipped his old clothes off, put the new one's on and we were off to school. After school he wanted to go shopping with his dad for his birthday gift! He was all smiles when he got home and off shopping with dad. They had a great time, the only thing was Mitchell had too many decisions and couldn't make up his mind. After a couple hours of shopping (remind you, he is with his father, Scott is a in and out kind of shopper) Mitchell decided on an Ipod and some baseball bases. Then they met us at the Restaurant of Mitchell's choice! Chilli's, he was so excited to have the RIBS! He ate every last bite and still was a little hungry, I think the days of Kids meals our over for Mitchell! (dang it!) Last but not least we headed home for cake and Ice cream! Mitchell wanted a BYU cake, this is what I came up with. He loved it. He got calls, and cards from family and friends and his day was complete.

The cutest thing was when Scott and I put him to bed, he was a little sad and a few tears were there. I asked why he was crying, he said It's nothing mom, I talked to him and finally he admitted he had such a great day and he didn't want his birthday to end. I kissed him and told him if it didn't end he would never turn 9. That pretty much explained itself.

We love you Mitchell and we are so glad to have you in our family. We are proud of the decisions you are making in your life!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Mom, I'M NOT TIRED!

Kade and I are always having our issues of him telling me that he is not tired. Kade is 5 and still could use a short nap. 5 or 6 o'clock at night Kade is not a very Happy Camper. He is soo tired and wines about everything. I am always telling Kade he should lay down and watch a show and have some quiet time. He always tells me, MOM I'M NOT TIRED! Well this picture speaks for itself!

MOM'S DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!

BACK 2 SCHOOL!

Mitchell started 2ND grade and Kade started Kindergarten. Wow, are they really that old? They both really enjoyed there first day of school, there were no tears on either end and all smiles when they came home. I loved my time with Sadie while the boys were away and I think she enjoyed mine. She wanted my undivided attention the whole 3 hours.

Sadie of course needed a photo just like her brothers, she is into doing everything they do! They of course think it's great, we will see how long this last!

BUDDY BEACH DAY!

We are so fortunate to be so close to the beach! We have spent many a day at the beach this summer. School is starting on Wednesday and are Beach days are coming to an end, or at least not as frequent!

We were able to go with some friends from our church and the kids had a blast and the mothers enjoyed themselves chatting under the shade tent eating snacks or course.

READY, SET, HIKE!

Mitchell and McKade have started Flag Football and they both really enjoy it thus far. They are both doing really well and are very athletic. Last game Kade made a touchdown and the extra point. Mitchell's team tied with the other team 0 to 0 but Mitchell made the highlight of the game by making a huge interception!

We have really enjoyed watching them both play and they are learning some good sportsmanship for there future athletic
careers. Good Job boys, we love you!

CuTe CoUsiNs!

Our trip to Utah was short but wonderful! Sadie loved her newest cousin Emree. Whenever we saw her, all she wanted to do is HOLD the BABY! With a few pillows and mom close by we let her have her 1st chance at holding Emree. She loved every minute of the experience.

HOW MUCH IS TO MUCH?

Sadie is obsessed with putting on sunscreen. That is a good thing, but she has to do it herself. That is a bad thing.

We were at the beach and I had already lathered her all up with sunscreen, I went down by the shoreline and came back and this is what I saw! I just laughed and grabbed my camera. She loves to put it in her hair, she sees me put it in the boys hair so they don't get burnt heads. So she automatically thinks that where it belongs. She definitely won't have a problem with her head getting burnt.

Just Another Day At the BEACH!

We have truly taken advantage of living so close to the beach this year. The kids all enjoy going and it is such a wonderful time when we go. Mitchell loves to body board, Kade loves to jump the waves and dig for sand crabs and Sadie walks the shoreline with her bucket collecting shells and rocks. Scott and I do a little of everything.

We always have to bring plenty of snacks, but we have a wonderful time and we all enjoy ourselves completely.

I have gotten passed the sand mess and I enjoy myself a lot more, the little sand in the car no longer ruffles my feathers. It makes for fun family time and lots of great memories and I realized that is all that matters.

Swim like A FISH!

We totally scored with our swimming lessons. We have the best swim teacher out there. She has taught my boys so much, Mitchell has even been lucky enough to have private lessons. They both are doing so well, and love every minute of it.

McKade is great. He jumps like a crazy man in to the water and swims to the side only to do it all over again and again. He has become a great swimmer and loves to be at the pool any chance he gets.

Mitchell has exceeded my expectations in the water. He has learned all sorts of strokes and is a excellent swimmer. His teacher even said we should consider him on a swim team.

They both love the water, & swim like FISH!
