SADIE, WHAT A QT PIE!

I got these hats for Sadie that I love (she doesn't of course), but she did put it on for just a short moment and I was able to capture a few random pictures of her.  She is full of attitude and spunk but she sure is cute and knows how to melt her mom, dad and brothers hearts!
We love her and we are so  blessed to have her in our family!

Birthdays, Disneyland, Turkey Dinner & The Beach, What a WEEK!

My Sister & her family were able to come spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with us.  What a fun and memorable weekend. (look @ ALL those BOYS, my poor sister)
We were able to spend a whole day at the beach!  The kids loved every minute and I was able to get some great shots of all the kids enjoying a little SURF & SAND!

Disneyland was a big hit.  It is crazy what a KID you become when you step foot on Disneyland grounds.  We were there from Sun up to Sun down!
Scott and I are so lucky we are able to GROW OLD TOGETHER!
(sure love ya babe!)

TRICK OR TREAT!

It is hard to believe that yet another Halloween has come and gone.  Halloween is a much anticipated day for the little ones and a whirlwind for the mothers and just another day for the dad ( atleast in our home).  The kids were so excited and we had a wonderful time full of tricks and of course many a treats!  (Sadie is in heaven, her middle name is SUGAR)
Sadie and Kade posing for another picture, Kade not so thrilled!
Kade was Russel Martin, many of you I am sure are not aware of who he is.  He is the Dodgers catcher.  Kade is truly obsessed with this man.  He has actually told me he would like to change his name when he is older to Russel and he wants me to sign him up for baseball as Russel Martin so he can have MARTIN on his jersey.  Hopefully this wears off before he is of age.  He liked the candy thing for the 1st few houses then he was pretty much done and just wanted to play with the neighbors.
Mitchell was not sure what he wanted to be this year, so I went to the store and decided for him.  He was ok with the idea of a vampire, especially when I put some blood and scratches on his face.  He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES halloween and all the treats.  Only bad thing is he can only eat a few of the candies due to his braces!  Oh well, better on the teeth anyway.
(p.s. I think he makes a handsome EDWARD!)
Sadie is still not sure of the whole dressing up thing so I found this costume and I knew she would look darling.  After a lot of bribing , Kade was able to get this on her.  When we started trick or treating Scott and I thought she might be a little hesitant, she was until she received her first treat and then  it was all over, she was the leader of the pack and Scott and I had to do everything just to keep up with her.  Towards the end, we could tell she was tuckerd out and the bag was dragging behind her. Finally we called it quits.  She loves her snacks and keeps asking for more snacks please, more snacks please!

Fun In the SUN with Cousins!

Aunt Ashlee and her daughters flew in for the weekend for a little Sun, Fun and Relaxation.WE were able to get a little of everything in.  From swimming at the pool to playing on the beach, we ALL had a wonderful time together.   The kids could have stayed at the beach ALL day if we didn't run out of snacks.
Sadie loved every minute of baby Emree, she thought it was her own doll to play with.  She loved kissing her and making sure Emree had her blanket on.

The kids loved digging for SAND CRABS! and making there own tide pools!
CUTE COUSINS, HAPPY TO BE TOGHER FOR A FEW DAYS!

They had fun trying out the HAY pyramid and running around the SUNFLOWER maze!
Grandma Mink flew in for the week and we were able to have so much fun with her while she was at our house.
Nothing beats a good old wheel barrow ride!  Slow down DAD!
Sadie took a seat on the white pumpkins to ponder on what Pumpkin she wanted!
Grandma tried to help Sadie make her big decision!

Great to be Eight!

The anticipated day had finally arrived.  On October 11, 2008, Mitchell was confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mitchell has been looking forward to this day for quite a while and is so proud to be the newest member of our ward.  I am grateful for the wonderful EXAMPLE he is to his little brother and sister.

Mitchell's grandma and grandpa Sampson flew in for this special occasion.  We had a wonderful weekend with them and so grateful they were able to come for this SPECIAL day!

We are so proud of Mitchell and the decisions he is making in his life.  He is a wonderful son, and we are so blessed to have him in our family.
