She's off!

WOW, Sadie's 1st day of kindergarten. Happy or Sad, I am not sure. I think a little of both. Happy that Sadie is so happy to be at the BIG school with her brothers, SAD, that I have put her out into this big, big world of ours to explore for herself. She will do awesome and I am so grateful it is only 3 hours and we have a few hours to spend with each other each morning. She told me today, MOM, I feel so brave when I am with you. It melted my heart.

Sadie found her name on her desk and was able to get all her projects completed!

She was super happy until it was time to say goodbye, and then she got a little teary eyed, and luckily her teacher got her attention and made her help her with a project! When I picked her up, she was all smiles and excited about all the activities and so happy she got to have recess this year. It is going to be a great year!

WE LOVE YOU SADIE!

Back to School Boys!

The boys headed back to school today. They were both pretty excited and woke up really early to make sure they were ready for the big day. Mitchell is in 5th grade and Kade is in 3rd grade. We had a super fun summer but all good things must come to an end. It will be nice to be back on task with schedules, betimes and ALL that HOMEWORK.

Both boys came home with HUGE smiles and seemed to be super happy about the first day! I am anticipating a super fun year. Ms. Sadie is counting down the days until she can go. Sadie has her meet the teacher on Friday & then she will be starting Kindergarten on Tuesday, August 29, 2011. It is hard to believe my babies will all be in school. I have mixed emotions, but mostly very excited for them all.

Fish & Fun @ Fish Lake!

We finally were able to get down to Fish Lake this summer before school started. It was super fun, we were able to catch more fish than we have ever caught before and the weather and atmosphere were both wonderful.

Everyone waiting for the fish to bite on the hooks!

Kade working on his patience. No he not so good at the patient thing. He was always moving around and looking for a new spot to fish.

bACkYarD sUmMeR fUn!

Sadie and our cute neighbor girls have had tons of FUN in the backyard this summer. They are such cute girls and have so much fun when they get together and can just be SILLY GIRLS!

Oh, to only be a kid again!

SWEET AIR!

Kade was out riding his bike and I was able to catch some of his SWEET AIR action he was able to get off his ramps.

He is a little dare devil and really can get some AIR when he flies off those ramps!

Look mom, no WHEELS! (training wheels that is)

Teaching Sadie how to rider her bike without training wheels was on our "TO DO LIST" this summer. We have been extremely busy this summer with the boys activities, so teaching Sadie how to ride a bike has been on the back burner. Sadie came in last week while Scott was out of town and told me she wanted her training wheels off. I was not really in the mood to deal with the bike thing right then, but I decided to go ahead and take off the training wheels. 15 minutes later, Kade and Sadie came in the house and told me I needed to come outside. Kade was MR. PATIENT and had taught his little sister how to ride her bike without the training wheels. I don't know who was more excited, Kade or Sadie. It was such a fun teaching moment for both of them.

Scott came home to a big surprise and she is riding like a crazy woman all over the roads. Thanks Kade , and Sadie, Mom and Dad are super PROUD of YOU!

Sampson Reunion @ Island Park!

We were able to spend a fun week up in Island Park with Scott's family. It was such a fun and relaxing trip. The kids played from sun up to sun down and still didn't want to go to sleep when the lights went out. We were able to go horse back riding, fish, fish and fish some more, catch frogs and pollywogs at the pond, go canoeing, drive into Yellowstone experience Old Faithful, float the Snake River and spend a lot of fun, quality time laughing and chatting with each other.

Island Park was simply a perfect get away for the whole family. It was so beautiful there. The mountains were so green and all the wildflowers were still in full bloom. The weather was wonderful and the air was crisp. It was a fantastic time and a memory that will last a lifetime.
