She's off!

WOW, Sadie's 1st day of kindergarten. Happy or Sad, I am not sure. I think a little of both. Happy that Sadie is so happy to be at the BIG school with her brothers, SAD, that I have put her out into this big, big world of ours to explore for herself. She will do awesome and I am so grateful it is only 3 hours and we have a few hours to spend with each other each morning. She told me today, MOM, I feel so brave when I am with you. It melted my heart.

She was super happy until it was time to say goodbye, and then she got a little teary eyed, and luckily her teacher got her attention and made her help her with a project! When I picked her up, she was all smiles and excited about all the activities and so happy she got to have recess this year. It is going to be a great year!

Oh, I'm glad she did so good! She is so brave and she just looks as cute and confident as ever. I hope you're enjoying your time with no kids. If you ever feel a void, I have a kid you can borrow :)
