We were able to go up to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for the weekend with a few a Scott's family members. We had a wonderful time. The Grand Tetons are simply beautiful. Yellowstone was full of animals and the boys were even able to get a little fly fishing in. We were able to see Old Faithful erupt. The adults thought is was wonderful and the kids thought it was a very, very ,very, long wait for what it was. Someday they might appreciate nature. We had a super fun time and most of all just enjoyed the company, and we didn't get eaten by BEARS, so that was a big plus. While camping there were so many signs and warnings, we were all very nervous and we had to be on bear alert at all times, if a kid dropped even the tiniest morsel of food we would have to pick it up and put it in the the bear proof can. A little nerve racking but we survived.

Fun Fun!! I haven't been there in so long.
We miss you at swimming lessons :0)
Welcome to my world! I can't believe you didn't stop in :) Clay was working in Yellowstone last weekend and had a very close run in with a grizzly - of course he didn't have to camera I gave him. Next time you come up this way, get ahold of me, I would love to see you!
It was fun! Thanks for spending 7 of the last 10 days with Blair and I.
Sounds like lots of fun. We're trying not to take it too personally that we were the ONLY ones not invited (haha, sort of). Let us know next time you plan something...the kids love being with their cousins. Glad you had a good time and didn't turn into bear chow.
