McKade had been playing on a Super League Baseball team. He is enjoying baseball very much and has been improving his game and playing very well.

McKade Pitching, he has the SAMPSON TONGUE!

Coach Jason giving Kade a little bit of Coaching advise!

Keep up the HARD work Kade. We love you!

Climbing The RED ROCKS in St. George

We were able to escape down to St. George and spend some time with the Sampson's as well as watch McKade play in his baseball tournament. The kids loved the rocks and trying to explore all the nook and cranny's there were to explore. We came upon these stair looking rocks and the kids thought this was there very favorite spot!

They all climbed up into this cave, everyone thought it was way cool except for Sadie, if you can't tell by her terrified face!

Scott and his princess Sadie!

Just me and my boys! We had a fun few hours of hiking and really enjoyed being outdoors in the sun!

Shoot'n a little HOOP!

Today the boys were out shoot'n a few hoops. They were inventive and found a way to give them a few more inches in the air!
They are both loving basketball right now and really getting good at the game

MARCH winter snow storm.

I think everyone is sick of this white fluffy stuff except MY CHILDREN!
We woke up to 4-5 inches a couple of days a go. I heard all 3 children up at 6:30 AM getting into there snow gear. I gave in and let them go play an hour before school started.

They all 3 love winter and I guess I should be happy they enjoy playing out in that yucky stuff together.

Science Fair Project 2011

Mitchell was stoked to try the science fair out this year. He did an excellent job. His project was to see What Liquids Decayed a Tooth the Fastest or Most?
Lemon Juice ate all the enamel off. Diet Coke turned it black from all the carmel coloring, Orange Juice ate a cavity into the tooth, Milk rotted the tooth and Water had no effect. He found out that WATER if the best for our teeth, with a little of everything else in between.

Congratulations Mitchell for doing so well and learning so much! We love you.

Sampson Sunday Sillyness!

It was a BEAUTIFUL, SUNNY Sunday! I have not said that for a long time now. I think it got up to the mid 50's. It was great. So I got out my camera and took advantage of taking pictures of the kids.

This is the kids trying to pose for me. To bad I cut Mitchell's head off.

This is Sadie getting frustrated trying to figure out her camera!

Mitchell being the first to taste our homemade pizza!

McKade is taking the picture and Sadie is giving me lots and lots of KISSES!

McKade and Sadie both wanting to try out there camera, while I was busy taking pictures of them!

Sadie being CUTE while striking a pose! She is getting very into posing lately!

Mitchell and Sadie enjoying the sun! Mitchell is always a great BIG brother.
We are so grateful for the SUNSHINE that we felt today! Hope the groundhog is right and SPRING is just around the corner!

McKade's Baptism

February 5, 2011.
We are so proud of McKade. He was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. February 5, 2011. It was a beautiful day filled with the spirit shared with family and friends.

We are grateful for this first step in McKade's life, he has opened the door onto the path leading back to live with our Heavenly Father. He is a great kid, he is full of life and energy and we know that he can be a leader and a righteous example to all those he comes in contact with. We pray that he will want to follow the council of his parents, church leaders and the prophet and strive to always Choose the Right and make good decisions. WE LOVE YOU BUDDY!

Happy 8th Birthday Bud!

Happy Birthday Mckade! Mom and Dad love you and are so proud of the fine young man you are becoming. It is hard to believe that you are 8 years old. We can remember when you were just 2 and you wanted everyone's wallet, cell phone or pocket knife. To say you were obsessed would be an understatement. You are 8 now and still full of life. You have more energy that dad and I can only dream of. We are so glad that you were sent to our family and so glad we get the opportunity to be your parents while on this earth.

You love everything to do with SPORTS! When we wake up you have already beaten us up and your checking out the ESPN stats on the computer for the day. You love the Jazz especially # 8 Deron Williams, hence your Jazz cake with the # 8 on it. It worked out perfect since you are turning 8. You love BYU, especially there Basketball and Football. You play on a Super League Baseball team, Utah County Venom, you are very talented in baseball. Mom and Dad, Mitchell and Sadie love you so much and are grateful for you and excited to see you grow and develop throughout the years.
We are super excited and proud of the decision you have made to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and excited for next saturday when this will take place.

McKade's 8th Birthday Bash!

Kade has never really had an official birthday party. He has always chosen to do something with the family or with just him and his dad. This year he chose to have a birthday party with a few kids from the neighborhood.

I love parties for BOYS! They are so easy and low stress. Boys don't care to have things cute and they really don't worry about all the little details. I asked Kade what he wanted to do for his birthday, he told me he had it already planned. I said PERFECT! We ended up playing 3 games, all including some kind of ball. We ate pizza, snacks and soda, opened presents and sent them all home with an ice cream sandwich and a bag full of Kade's favorite treats. EASY PEASY!

It turned out really fun, low stress and Kade loved every minute.
We had his birthday party early, his birthday is on Tuesday, we are going to a Jazz game on Wednesday and he has chosen to get baptized on February 5th. We are so lucky to have him in our family and so grateful for the lessons of life he teaches me each day.

Ringing in the New Year RIGHT!

2010 went OUT with a BANG and 2011 is HERE to stay.

We were able to spend New Year's Eve with some of our dear Friends the Smiths. The kids don't get to spend much time together since they live out of town, but when we get together they LOVE each other and are best buddies.

The temps outside were FRIGHTFUL, but we decided to go look at the lights at Temple Square. They were beautiful, good thing we all bundled up WARM!

We enjoyed a YUMMY New Years Eve dinner at Tucano's.

WE had a FABULOUS time, we ended the night swimming, laughing and of course a few treats. The kids played games while the adults chatted and tried to stay awake to welcome 2011. The ball dropped, the fireworks went off, we kissed goodnight and snuggled into our nice warm bed.

We are so blessed, we hope we have wonderful and healthy 2011.
