Cruising the Baja!

This past week, as a family, we went on a Family Vacation. We all decided a cruise was the way to go, since all my boys really care about is FOOD, SWIMMING and a little more FOOD! This trip was perfect for them. Sadie's was not really big on the food, but she was super excited about the GIANT waterslides on the back of the ship and the FREE icecream cones. Kade took full advantage of the FREE ice cream cones. He had two in his hand at all times, breakfast, lunch and dinner and all the snacks in between. It was truly a wonderful vacation for him. Our cruise took us down to Baja, Mexico. We had (2) stops, Catalina and Ensenada, Mexico. It was a wonderful trip and we had a fabulous time together as a family.
We drove down to California and we hit Newport,Beach for a day before we boarded the ship. It was just like the good old days and we loved every minute of it.
Scott and the kids enjoying the beach. Mitchell was brave enough to get burried first.
Sadie was also brave and wanted a chance at getting burried. Kade had no interest at all, but he loved every minute of burrying everyone else.
Kade is the type that likes to lay on his towel and just "LOOK COOL"!
The kids thought the towel pets and the chocolates laying on your pillow at night were the best! I just loved that someone else was making my bed for me.
Scott, Mitchell and Kade, trying to decide what Kayak to take up the coast.
The 3 muskateers heading off into the deap blue sea!
The Carnival Inspiration from our Beach in Catalina.
Sadie and I stayed on the beach in Catalina, while the boys went kayaking and snorkeling. The weather was perfect and the just the 2 of us had a great time building sandcastles and collecting shells.
Kade out decked out in his snorkeling gear, he was not a fan of his outfit, he thought someone might thinks he looked weird. Kade the fish don't care what you look like!
Sadie and I chilling at the beach!
Mitchell and Sadie stopping for a picture for me. I loved all the flowers all over the island.
A picture of the AWESOME waterslide on the back of the ship! The best place on the whole ship, so Sadie thought anyway
Catalina Island from our ship!
A family photo at our Dining table. The kids loved having to order off a fancy menu each night. Mitchell really got into it, by the last night, he even ordered two Entree's. Mitchell was very brave and tried all sorts of NEW foods: Alligator fritters, roasted duck, and lobster. He also loved trying a new dessert out.
One of the 3 BlowHoles in the world. Who new Ensenada, Mexico has one of the 3!
The crew trying to get a little closer look at the BLOWHOLE!
Ensenada, Mexico cute, clean little americanized city. We let the kids have the real mexico experience by going to a Market in old town Ensenada.
Mitchell was able to capture this picture of giant seals up on the warm rocks!
Mitchell let loose on the pool deck and danced his heart out with his buddy he met from Ogden. He really surprised us all when he got out on the deck of the pool and started shaking his money maker!
Just one of the many, many hamburgers Mitchell was able to devour!
We topped the trip off with a Dodgers Baseball game. The boys loved every minute of it and all Sadie was interested in was what the vendors were selling in the aisle. We had to remind her that the FREE FOOD ended when we got off the ship!
The 2 boys in all there glory, watching there favorite team! We were even lucky enough to have an amazing firework show after the game. The highlight for the boys was when they opened the gated to the field and we were able to lay on Dodgers stadium watching fireworks. It was a perfect ending to a fabulous week!
Kade and I trying to capture a picture together!
The family out on Dodgers Stadium turf waiting for the firework show!
All in All we had a wonderful time, we laughed a lot, we ate a lot, we made some awesome memories and unfortunatley we packed on a few pounds. We are ALL looking forward to a fun filled vacation real soon!
