VALENTINES DAY GETAWAY!

This year we spent our Valentines Day down in Glenwood with the Kiddos!  The weather was beautiful and once again we had an amazing and relaxing time.

 We were able to go on the Ranger and 4 wheelers all over in the hills of Glenwood.   We found a perfect spot to have our Valentines Day hot dog roast.  Due to the crazy warm weather we have had, we had our first weenie roast of the year.  The kids were able to do a little target shooting and we spent the day laughing, riding and getting super duper muddy! IT WAS AWESOME!

Mitchell made us a little fire to roast our dogs on.  It was perfect!

We LOVE going down to the Country Cottage and enjoying the simple way of life.  Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Sampson for letting us enjoy the Cottage once again.

Happy Happy 12th Birthday to this Stud!

 This Month is such a special one, its BIRTHDAY time you SEE!  McKade turned 12!

 Mckade is the newest Aaronic Priesthood holder in our family!  He has been so excited about this day, & has been waiting for this special occasion ever since his older brother turned 12.

McKade is a wonderful son & we are so Grateful for the JOY & Laughter he brings into our home!

 Kade loves baked goods, not so much candy, but bring on the pastries for this boy!  His birthday cake of choice this year was a pan of HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS!

Kade had a wonderful, but simple birthday!  He had a birthday dinner with Dad & Mom and then celebrated pretty low key with his family.  Kade is an amazing son & has a lot of enthusiasm for life.

We are so proud of him & all of the decisions &

 accomplishments he is making in his life.

2014 Christmas Break in Paradise!

Scott & I decided to head to Paradise the day after Christmas.  We do not love the Snow , but we are trying to embrace it.  We headed to Cali for the rest of our Christmas Break to enjoy a little bit warmer tempatures.
Our first stop was Las Vegas, while we were there we visited the Las Vegas Raceway.  The boys were able to sit in all of there DREAM CARS!  We watched cars get up to speeds of 180+ it was crazy. 

The next day we drove to Newport Beach.

he soon found out not so much.
 He had sand in every crevice possible.

One day we took a drive down to SanDiego.  We had a wonderful time.  We went to Old Town & enjoyed some Yummy Mexican Food. Then we drove over to Coronado Beach and spent some time there on the beach.

WELCOMING IN THE NEW YEAR at 10:00!  I was the only one that made it this late.  The rest of the party poopers hit the sack, they were all worn out from the beach.

We rented bikes, Kade and Mitch wanted to try the Tandem bike.  This lasted about 2.3 minutes.  As the pictures shows one looked left and the other right.  Not such a good combo.

We enjoyed a family bike ride down the Boardwalk.  It was beautiful and amazing. Then we rode the ferry over to Balboa to get a Yummy Balboa Bar.

We had such an amazing time together.  We love the BEACH!  We could spend everyday there and not get board.  We love the waves, we love the sand and we love the Palm Trees, we love the SUN!  It was an amazing trip filled with LOTS of YUMMY food, Lots of Laughs and many many memories.
Can't wait until we go back in 2015!
